Analysis of parallel operation of nodal areas of 110 kV Krasikov and Neznasov transformers stations
Kostkan, Petr ; Kopička, Marek (referee) ; Ptáček, Michal (advisor)
Currently, the nodal areas of Neznášov substation and Krasíkov substation, which belong to ČEZd distribution network 110 kV – East, are operand as separate units. In the defined setting, each nodal area comprises of two 400/110 kV transformers. In the case of failure of the transformer T401 or T402, the criterion N-1 for twenty percent of the rated output is not met. Such problem can be solved by parallel operation of nodal areas of Neznášov substation and Krasíkov substation. The principal as well as practical aim of this thesis is to interconnect the bridge operated connection in separated areas into parallel/loop operation of nodal areas (supplied by 400/110 kV transformers). Computing software is used to calculate the steady state and short-circuit conditions in the distribution network 110 kV for separate and parallel operation of mentioned nodal areas. Power flow analysis is aimed at assessment and evaluation of voltage conditions, transformers loading (400/110 kV and 110/vn) as well as 110 kV lines loading. Obtained short-circuit indices is used to examine short-circuit, withstand capability of the 110 kV substation. Finally, benefits as well as drawbacks of the separate and parallel operation are compared and evaluated. If necessary, the technical arrangements are proposed/designed in order to allow parallel operation of nodal areas Neznášov substation and Krasíkov substation.

Vyčítal, Václav ; Rampl, Martin (referee) ; Blažek, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis can be divided into five main parts. The first part deals with theoretical analysis of power flow calculation in power network during steady state condition. Load flow calculation is presented here as a linear and nonlinear problem. Newton iteration method is proposed for solving power flow as nonlinear problem. The second part of this thesis deals with the analysis of short-circuit calculation in accordance with valid International Standard IEC 60909. The equivalent voltage source method is adopted in case of the short-circuit calculation. For the calculation of unbalanced short-circuit currents, the symmetrical components method is also presented. The last three parts of this paper are focused on calculations of power flow and short-circuit conditions in power grid Sokolnice. So in the third part is the description of nodal area Sokolnice with its substations and the calculation of load flow and short-circuit conditions for two different power supply options. For each supply option is also considered an abnormal (fault) grid condition. (overall there are solved four different options) The fourth part of this thesis deals with the result analysis and also the results of different power supply options are compared. In the last part there are presented necessary technical improvements for fault-free operation of power grid Sokolnice based on the result of power flow and short-circuit conditions in that grid.

Chrástek, Radim ; Janda, Petr (referee) ; Blažek, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to project an operation of bridge connection in distribution network in Čebín’s nodal area. The main task is to check a fulfilment of voltage tolerance in distribution substations 110 kV, load transformer control (400/110 kV, 110/VN kV), distribution power line 110 kV control and short - circuit conditions control. Relevant calculations are performed by dispatching control system, which works with the actual parameters of all distribution network‘s 110 kV facilities. The theoretical part of this thesis is devoted to the way of the calculation of stabilized operation and the short-circuit conditions. In practical part, first we perform an analyse of stabilized operation and the short-circuit conditions of distribution network 110 kV in actual operation. Next step deals with bridge connection design and analysing its operation. The operation of bridge connection is verificated even in specific conditions (disturbance state, increased load). The next section evaluates the results of the calculations. First we deal with actual operations evaluation and proposed the bridge connection. In the next section we evaluate the operation of the bridge connection in the specific operating conditions. Finally, we evaluate the losses in the distribution network 110 kV. If the calculations of the stabilized operation or the short-circuit conditions of distribution network discovers that some of its elements are overloaded, we propose changes to ensure safe and reliable operation of the distribution network.

Nábělek, Ondřej ; Rampl, Martin (referee) ; Blažek, Vladimír (advisor)
In the Master Thesis discusses the impact of the bridge connecting the transformer to power system connection to a separate transformers. They were first analyzed the method of calculating the steady operation of the network using the Newton iterative method and the method of calculating short-circuit ratios. It describes the area Slavětice 110kV substation, which is the subject of subsequent calculations. It is also elucidating the function of the bridge connection, advantages and disadvantages. The reason for implementing the bridge operation is to increase the reliability of electricity supply to customers but the major disadvantage is the greater technical and economic performance because increased short circuit current and the need for transmission transformer 400/110kV same type with the same parameters. Point is the practical part, which contains already concrete results taken with the dispatcher software Sinaut. There is a short-circuit resistance compared to short-circuit power substation, then the burden of the elements (transformers, lines) for two specified connection alternatives and four interruptions important elements. Finally, it stated that it can be done with the bridge connection which technical measures. It was discovered that in terms of short-circuit ratios in the present time it is not possible to operate the bridge connection transformers substation Slavětice 110kV and in terms of very different parameters of transformers 400/110kV the operation is not recommended.

Mikulinec, René ; Janda, Petr (referee) ; Blažek, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis deals with the steady operation and short-circuit conditions in the 110 kV network E.ON in a separate and parallel operation of nodal areas of Otrokovice substation and Sokolnice substation. The theoretical part is devoted to the calculation of steady state high-voltage systems using Newton's iterative method, transient phenomena that may occur in the power system short-circuit calculations and theories. The practical part deals with the actual calculations of steady state and short-circuit conditions in a separate and parallel operation of nodal areas Sokolnice-Otrokovice, which were calculated using the dispatching program. These calculations are then evaluated for possible use of involvement in actual operation. At the end there are suggestions on operational measures in the network 110 kV.
Stabilized operation and short-circuit conditions within E.ON 110kV power network supplied from Otrokovice 110kV switching station, during the period of 2012
Kuba, Petr ; Rampl, Martin (referee) ; Blažek, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis deals with steady running and short-circuit conditions in the 110 kV network, E. ON, fed from 110 kV Otrokovice. Substation Otrokovice ensures system transformation from 400 kV to 110 kV system through three transformers. In order to increase reliability of power supply and improved economy is considered to bridge the transition from the operation of two transformers in bridge operations of the three transformers. However, this brings with it significant worsening of short-circuit conditions in the 110 kV network. The task of this work is to evaluate and compare the two variants of operation in terms of steady running and short-circuit conditions in the network at 110 kV and then implement operational and technical measures. The introduction describes the electricity system and its parts. The theoretical part of the paper discusses ways of dealing with steady running and short circuit conditions of long lines. Practical part will deal with applications of knowledge on the network. The conclusion summarizes the most relevant information and the results assessed both variants.

The Analysis of the Possibility of Realization of a New Substation 400/110kV as a Substitute for TR Tábor
Modlitba, Petr ; Kozák, Miroslav (referee) ; Toman, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the assessment of the location of the new transformer station 400/110 kV in terms of conditions in the 110 kV network, which will be supplied from this substation. The new 400/110 kV transformer station will replace the current transformer station 220/110 kV Tábor, which will be decommissioned in connection with the overall 220 kV system attenuation in the Czech power transmission system. On the basis of the load flow simulation of the 110 kV distribution network and calculations of the short-circuit conditions performed by simulation SW LUG two variants of the location of a new 400/110 kV transformer station were assessed. The 110 kV network calculations were focused on the evaluation of voltage conditions, the 110 kV lines loading in the standard operating scheme and in failure states according to the N-1 criterion, short-circuit conditions and losses. On the basis of the computational analyses, the technical measures necessary to ensure the reliable operation of the 110 kV network in the given area are designed and economically evaluated.
